Key Biscayne Kinda Day

What better way to soak up the sun and get some vitamin D other than a relaxing day at the beach? (with social distance of course)!

Last weekend I took a little day trip to Key Biscayne, one of my favorite spots in Miami, and visited Crandon Park with a good friend. And in typical Miami fashion, it was cloudy early on, and then blazing hot with a clear blue sky as they day continued. I didn’t get in the ocean for two reasons. One being that I was still a bit hesitant due to the pandemic, and two, there was way too much seaweed to walk through before reaching it. So i opened for a nice day under the palms soaking up some serotonin. I think we can all agree how helpful that can be in times lie these.

While summer still up for discussion, and labor day quietly creeps up, I wore my Elan white sheer beach pants over my one piece swimsuit, along with my sun visor from Nordstrom Rack, that I have been obsessed with lately. I love that the sun visor matches almost anything with its tan color, and adds a pop of drama with the black velcro strip. Its also convenient being that it can be rolled up into my purse when I’m on the go. This whole look, including my bathing suite, pants and hat, is from Nordstrom Rack, one of my places to shop with great brands and amazing deals.

What has been your recent summer go-to piece?
