Hello to all. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during these times. While there now seems to be a light to this situation as some restrictions clear, I am still doing my best to practice social distancing and other safe practices. In the very beginning of this all, I found myself (as well as many other) spending a lot of time quarantining at home.
I would call that time, my sweatpants phase. For the first few weeks, I indulged in all the different loungewear and sweatpants outfits that I could find. It was a fun way for me to still feel up and running. Even though it was a stay-home, or “lazy day” outfit, I was able to manage mixing the leisure with going out pieces as well.
This outfit right here is one example of just that. I wore an old Aerie sweatpant that I’ve had for years now, mixing it with a more relevant top from Pull & Bear. Whenever I wear this top I instantly feel ready to go out anywhere. It combines trendy with comfort, a duo I live for. The texture is beautiful as well as the coral blue color. Combined with the sand colored bottom, it made for an unexpected yet lovely beach / leisure look. All while still giving a trendy and comfortable look.
Having pulled this outfit together during quarantine, I would now consider it a staple outfit that I will continue to wear, whether a lazy day at home, or a quick run for errands. And if I were to wear this for a more upscale place, (which is also doable) I can easily see myself wearing this to a beach resort.
