Finally, Friday is here… and so is the end to my first semester in college. A lot of new beginnings have started during these past few months that were both challenging, and exciting, and yet I’ve learned so much from those experiences. I can truthfully say that I now feel more prepared for what is to come in regards to my studies. So now…getting into my look for this post…I just want to start off by saying that when I first started college, I heard about how most students don’t really care about how they dress for class, but at least in my campus, I have seen otherwise. There is really just a mix of everything…there are of course, students that seem don’t seem to put much effort into their look, but then there are others that show up with a face full of makeup or nicely put-together outfits. As for me, I’m a bit of both! Some days I will literally find myself waking up and not having the energy to even try to pick out a cute outfit in which I will show up to class barefaced. Then there are other days, that by some sort of unexplainable force, I wake up feeling inspired and motivated to dress up nicely. But in college, it doesn’t really matter how you dress because what’s really important, as it should always be, is that you feel comfortable with your own appearance regardless of what others think. My college really seems to apply that thought, and thanks to that, I am able to see so much diversity on campus. Here’s my take on a casual school outfit with my jeans, a striped top, and some sneakers. Just some basic staples in one’s wardrobe that seem to do the trick without much effort.

Love it!
